Homeschool Connector

  • Parents/caregivers who are providing homeschooling may request support from a homeschool connector (a certified teacher).

  • The homeschool connector will support Kindergarten to Grade 8 homeschooled students and families by offering learning resources and providing regular check-ins. Learning will emphasize independent work and will require parent/caregiver engagement.

  • The learning resources offered will focus on the curriculum areas of English language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies, as well as well-being supports and resources.

  • Students will remain as a notified homeschool family with Manitoba Education’s Homeschooling Office.

  • To request homeschooling support through the Manitoba Remote Learning Support Centre, complete this form.

Enrolling with the Manitoba Remote Learning Support Centre

  • Notified homeschool families wishing to have their children registered with the Manitoba Remote Learning Support Centre should complete the Student Information form.

  • Once registered with the Manitoba Remote Learning Support Centre, the responsibility for academic programming and assessment lies with the Centre.

  • The student will no longer remain as a notified homeschool family with Manitoba Education’s Homeschooling Office.
