This integrated Science and English language arts learning experience invites students to investigate their own and others’ perspectives regarding sustainable development of geological resources. Through guided inquiry students have opportunities to explore a variety of texts representing multiple perspectives and opinions, to deepen and inform their own and others understandings. Students will consider how and what influences their personal perspectives and understandings of resource extraction. Students are challenged to create actionable plans to support sustainable development. This learning experience combines online synchronous and asynchronous learning.
